Hellboy and rookie agent B.P.R.D. In the 1950s, they travel to Appalachia, where they discover a remote community inhabited by witches and led by an ominous local demon, the Twisted Man. He approached me
this film? 5/10 or even 6/10 easily. There is good acting, there is bad acting, the production budget is low, and it shows, but the story is quite good, and there are elements of horror. An old village in the middle of nowhere, a deal with the devil, a bit of witchcraft and necromancy. Don’t expect fancy computer graphics, although some practical makeup is in order.
But still praise
Probably, it would look better as a mini-series – say, four episodes at a time. More room for story development, character arcs, and overall progression. In conclusion. Not as terrible as I thought. Not the best praise, I know.
